Research on College English Teaching under the Guidance of Cultural Comparison

Abstract
Cultural comparison is not only a commonperspective of language research, but also a classic way ofthinking. The application of the idea of cultural comparison inCollege English teaching can make English teaching have acomprehensive application value. Due to different ideas andeducational environment, there is a certain degree of culturallack in College English teaching in China. The lack of cultureleads to the abandonment of the basics in English teaching, andthe lack of quality will also lead to poor English practice andapplication ability of college students. The promotion ofcomparative culture is the inevitable trend of College Englishteaching activities. We must strengthen the construction of theoverall system of College English teaching and the shaping ofEnglish teachers' comparative culture research ability in orderto improve the quality of College English teaching.
