The Corresponding Expression of Chinese Directional Verbs in Uyghur Language

Abstract
Directional verbs have always been a difficultpoint in teaching, translating and learning Chinese grammar.Scholars at home and abroad have done a lot of research onthem, but most of them focus only on directional verbs or onlyon individual words in Chinese-Uyghur directional verbs.There is little systematic and comprehensive research on thecorresponding expressions of Chinese-Uyghur directional verbs.Based on previous studies and the theoretical foundation ofcomparative linguistics, this paper discusses the correspondingexpression rules of directional verbs in Uyghur from fouraspects: the grammatical meaning of simple directional verbs,compound directional verbs and directional verbs, and thedifference between directional verbs and object positions.Through comparative analysis, the structural patterns andrules of different languages will be found, which will provide acertain scientific basis for the learning of Chinese-Uyghurlanguages and also play a certain auxiliary role in secondlanguage teaching.
