A Study of the Russian Translation and Outreach Paths of the Maritime Cultural Terms in Zhufanzhi under the Perspective of Corpus Translation

Abstract
Chinese civilization is rich in maritimeconsciousness and has a long maritime tradition. As a bookcontaining maritime culture, the study of Russian translationsof maritime cultural terms in the Zhufanzhi helps to disseminatemaritime culture to the outside world and to show theuniqueness of China’s maritime culture. This paper uses acorpus approach to classify and analyse in detail the translationmethods used for the maritime cultural terms in the book. It isfound that the translators mostly used direct translation,phonetic translation and annotation method for the Russiantranslation of marine culture terms in Zhufanzhi. By analysingthe translation results and combining the background of thetimes and communication theories, four reasonable and feasibletranslation paths for foreign propaganda are proposed.
