Abstract

The integration of artificial intelligence (AI) has significantly improved translation efficiency and scalability, but AI-generated texts often lack cultural nuance, contextual accuracy, and ethical sensitivity. This paper proposes a Complementary Advantage Model for human-AI collaboration, where AI performs repetitive tasks and humans ensure quality, cultural adaptation, and ethical oversight through a multi-stage workflow. By combining AI’s speed with human creativity, the model enhances translation quality and productivity, particularly in complex fields such as legal, medical, and literary translation.
